2013年2月4日，信昌機器工程有限公司榮獲香港社會服務聯會頒發的2012年度「商界展關懷」標誌，作為表揚及公開嘉許信昌實踐良好企業公民精神,這項殊榮是公司長期以關懷社群，積極投身公益事業及投入社區活動的成果，此獎項實在值得公司上下全體員工引以為榮。「商界展關懷」計劃由香港社會服務聯會主辦、政府撥款資助，並獲商界及社會人士積極參與及廣泛認同，已經成為官、商、民夥伴合作的平臺。計劃的宗旨是鼓勵工商機構的企業公民參與，通過工商及公共機構和社會服務界的策略夥伴合作，共同建立關懷社區的精神。計劃的目標是提升大眾對工商及公共機構實踐企業社會責任的認知，和它們對關懷社會的貢獻、鼓勵公共機構、工商界和非牟利服務機構建立策略性夥伴合作關係；公開嘉許實
踐企業社會責任的公共及工商機構。

在2012年間，信昌投資了不少時間及努力在關懷社區、員工以及環保的保護。我們對於前景是充滿信心，大力推動可持續發展的文化，例如我們舉辦「職業健康安全講座」、「可持續發展七省巡講會」、「Take Five」。在就業方面，信昌強調以人為本及優才發展，鼎力支援培育青年就業，提供多項專業培訓及明確的晉升機會。我們除了不斷優化員工福利外亦熱心支持員工參與公益慈善活動。在2012年11月，香港員工參加苗圃行動12小時慈善越野馬拉松比賽．為內地山區兒童籌得善款總數為港幣32,520。如此同時，我們亦于2012年增加了慈善活動的財政預算。

展望未來，信昌會繼續支持集團可持續發展的文化，多參與公益慈善活動，肩負社會企業責任，回饋社會，並為我們的下一代建設更美好的社會。

On 4 February 2013, The China Engineers, Limited (Hong Kong) was given the Caring Company Award by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in recognition of our corporate citizenship and support for public welfare.

The Caring Company Scheme was launched by HKCSS and funded by HKSAR Government. Over the years, it has gained widespread support from local businesses and has become the platform for collaboration between government, non-profit organization and business communities. The mission of this scheme is to enhance the understanding of public responsibility among public and private.

Throughout 2012, CEL has devoted a lot of time and effort to care for community, employee and environment. As part of our initiatives to support a “Sustainability Development Culture”, we have conducted various staff training/seminars, for example, “Occupational Safety Seminar”, “Sustainability Promotion Tours in 7 Provinces of China”, and “Take Five” seminars.

In addition, CEL focuses on “People Management” & “Talent Development” and support youth employment. We have provided professional training for our staff and offer a clear career path for their future development.

CEL is actively involved in public welfare and charity activities. We continue to enhance our policies to ensure that the welfare of our employees is well taken care. Employees are encouraged to be involved in community activities. In November 2012, we participated in the “Sower Action Challenging 12 Hours Charity Marathon” and raised HK$32,520 for children in rural areas of PRC. Also, we have increased our budget last year for charity aid in Hong Kong & PRC.

In future, CEL will continue to contribute to society by supporting a culture of sustainable development and participating in corporate social responsibility activities. We look forward to develop a sustainable future for all of us.
